Candidates applying to the “M.Sc. in Educational Leadership” and “M.A. in Multilingual Education” programs are expected to submit electronically the following documents on the website

1. a completed on-line application form which is available at;
2. a notarized copy of identity card or passport;
3. CV;
4. notarized copies of diplomas and transcripts (or equivalent) from all fulltime undergraduate and postgraduate education. Candidates in the last year of study may submit an official transcript from their university if they do not yet have a diploma, and have to submit a notarized copy of diploma once it is issued (a minimum CGPA of 2.75);
5. an English language proficiency test report (IELTS or TOEFL equivalent) valid as of date of online documents submission. The minimum score requirements are 6.5 (with sub-score requirements no less than 6.0) on the IELTS test or the TOEFL equivalent.

Candidates with an overall IELTS test score of 6.0 or above with no subsection below 5.5, or equivalent TOEFL score, can be recommended to take a 4-week intensive English language course. If a candidate successfully completes the course he or she can be admitted to the program.

Candidates with a valid overall IELTS test score of 5.5 with no more than one sub-score of 5.0, or the equivalent TOEFL scores as posted on the ETS website, can be recommended to take NU 1-year Zero Year Program (Pre-Master’s)

Candidates are not provided with dormitory and stipend during this 4-week course. Candidates who earned their academic degree in a country with English as the language of official communication and instruction are exempted from submitting IELTS or TOEFL test reports. Candidates whose undergraduate degree was earned in a program which was officially taught in English (in any country) can also be exempted from submitting IELTS or TOEFL test reports. 6. candidates may submit a copy of their GRE scores valid for the application period, if any, which will be considered in making admissions decisions by the Admissions Committee (optional);

7. a personal statement outlining the applicant’s reasons for wishing to enroll in the NUGSE Master of Science in Educational Leadership program, her or his long-term career objectives, and how the program would help her or him to achieve these objectives;

8. two letters of recommendation from individuals who are able to comment on the abilities of the candidate in a professional setting and are familiar with the candidate’s achievements and future aspirations.

The Admissions Committee keeps the right to invite for additional interviews if necessary. They may take place on campus or by Skype.

All documents shall be submitted in English or with a certified English translation before the deadline.
