Research findings on the implementation of per capita funding in Kazakhstan were discussed in NUGSE

On November 15, 2022, a research team of NUGSE, consisting of associate professor Ali Ait Si Mhamed, associate professor Rita Kasa, Dr. Zhanyl Zhontayeva and Dana Mambetalina (RA) held a round table where they shared the results of a study on the implementation of per capita financing in Kazakhstani schools. During the discussion, the participants of the round table - international experts from the USA - Daniel Waters, Latvia - Dace Kalsone, the UK - Elizabeth Winter and Kazakhstan - Laila Temirzhanova spoke about the experience of their countries on the structure of per capita financing of secondary education and the decision-making process for the distribution of funds. This round table is part of a research project “Per-capita funding model in Kazakhstani public and private schools and issues of adequacy, equity and accountability”, grant of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
