25 Years of Transformations of Higher Education Systems in Post-Soviet Countries

Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Education is delighted to share the news on their faculty members’ participation in authoring the recently published book “25 Years of Transformations of Higher Education Systems in Post-Soviet Countries”.

Associate Professor Ali Ait Si Mhamed, Assistant Professor Dilrabo Jonbekova and Assistant Professor Rita Kasa were among the authors of the long-awaited volume. The book is unique in its purpose and content as it presents analytical representations of higher education developments in all the 15 republics of the former USSR.

One of the authors, Dr. Ait Si Mhamed, reflecting on his experience of working on the project, has shared with us that “it was a very valuable experience working in a large international comparative research project. This research fills an important gap about Post-Soviet higher education space”.

The book is an excellent resource for students and faculty researching issues around higher education in the former Soviet republics. It is also a great resource for educational policy makers.

The book is in the open access and you may follow this link to get your free copy: https://www.springer.com/gp/book/9783319529790
