NUGSE Professor Mir Afzal Tajik delivered an invited-gust lecture on research paradigms at the Area Study Centre for Central Asia: An Academic Unit of the University of Peshawar in Pakistan

On November 11, 2022, NUGSE Professor Mir Afzal Tajik delivered an invited-gust lecture on research paradigms at the Area Study Centre for Central Asia: An Academic Unit of the University of Peshawar in Pakistan (http://www.uop.edu.pk/departments/?q=Area-Study-Centre). He also had discussions with the Centre’s Director, faculty and doctoral students on faculty-to-faculty research collaboration and scholarship opportunities available at NUGSE for master and PhD studies. The Area Study Centre for Central Asia at Peshawar University has been functioning since 1978 and is committed to promoting research and scholarly activities on Central Asia including Kazakhstan. The faculty, researchers, and doctoral students at the Centre have published several books, chapters, and articles on Central Asia in both local and international journals. The Centre also publishes an internationally indexed bi-annual journal “Central Asia” (http://journals.uop.edu.pk/journal_detail.php?journal_id=22#). NUGSE faculty, researchers and students may want to publish in this journal.
