New students have started their studies at GSE


Graduate School of Education held an orientation day. New 88 students majored in the programs of Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Master of Arts are about to start their academic journey holding background of professional experience in different regional educational institutions.

Welcoming words were given by Vice president for international and student affairs Kadisha Dairova and Vice provost for academic affairs Loretta O’Donnell of Nazarbayev University. 
In addition, school faculty members welcomed students at the event. They have shared information on their research areas and future academic study. Jason Sparks Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Education explained the study process to new masters students, also introducing academic and research projects.

Next few days students will be engaged with academic orientation where school faculty along with instructors and teaching assistants will provide workshops which help to adjust in a new academic environment before they start intensive course sessions.
