Four new Doctors of Philosophy graduate from NUGSE

As the GSE students embark on the 2024-2025 academic year, we are delighted to share some exciting news about our PhD candidates who have recently defended their theses at the beginning of Fall '24.
July 24th: Botagoz Ispambetova defended her PhD thesis, "Institutionalization of Human Subject Protection in Research: A Case Study of One Accelerated University in Kazakhstan." She was guided by Prof. Jason Sparks and Prof. Aliya Kuzhabekova.
August 2nd: Aisulu Badanova successfully defended her PhD thesis, titled "Leadership Identity Construction: An Exploratory Embedded Multiple Case-Study of Heads of Departments in Two Schools in Kazakhstan." Her Advisory Committee comprised Prof. Filiz Polat and Prof. Mir Afzal Tajik.
August 20th: Seth Antwi presented his PhD thesis on "Ghanaian Senior High School Science Teachers’ Perspectives and Practices of Technology Integration: A Descriptive Phenomenological Study." His Advisory Committee included Prof. Mir Afzal Tajik and Prof. Lynne Parmenter.
August 29th: Aigerim Kazhigaliyeva defended her PhD thesis titled "Ethnography of English Medium Instruction Policy and Practice in the Multilingual Context of a Private University in Kazakhstan." She was supported by Prof. Syed Manan and Prof. Lynne Parmenter.
