Interactive Lecture Helps Students Connect Theory with Classroom Practice

As part of the Fundamentals of Education course led by Prof. Mir Afzal, students specializing in Educational Leadership – School Education deepened their understanding of how teaching, learning, and assessment intersect in classrooms.

This guest lecture, conducted by Dr. Duishonkul Shamatov, invited students to engage in meaningful discussions on pedagogy, learning theories, and assessment strategies that promote both equity and effectiveness in education. Designed as a highly interactive and student-centered learning experience, the class featured warm-up activities, group tasks, and reflective dialogues that encouraged participants to connect theory with real classroom practice.

Students also reflected on practical teaching situations, exploring ways to cultivate collaboration, enhance learner engagement, and implement assessment approaches responsive to diverse learning needs. Through this session, participants strengthened their ability to think critically about how educators can create inclusive and engaging learning environments.
