Today, NUGSE hosted a session led by Prof. Shazim Ali Memon, Professor & Acting Vice-Dean for Research at the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences (SEDS, NU), focused on exploring emerging AI tools that support and enhance research productivity.
Organized by the Research Committee of NUGSE, this event highlighted the collaboration between the Graduate School of Education and the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences.
During the session, faculty and researchers examined how Generative AI is reshaping academic writing, research discovery, and scholarly publishing, and discussed the ethical, responsible, and policy-aligned use of AI in research.
