GSE conducted a workshop on publishing with impact
The Professional Development and Engagement Centre of Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Education hosted a training session on Publishing Outcomes of Research as part of the Newton - Al-Farabi Partnership Programme on September 19, 2016. The workshop is attended by 19 researchers from universities and research institutions in Astana.
The training session has facilitated by Dr Amos Fatokun, an academic staff at the University of Bradford in England, UK, where he teaches and conducts research in the Medical Sciences. His work has been published in several leading international journals.
Publishing the outcomes of a research investigation is one of the traditional but esteemed duties of an academic, and successful publishing, especially in respectable journals or other media, is a key index of both productivity and prestige.
The one-day workshop aims to help researchers to improve their writing skills and learn other issues related to contemporary publishing.
