Faculty members of Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Education conducted a seminar in September 18 for the staff of the Civil Service and Anti-Corruption Agency.
The seminar was attended by about 100 representatives of the agency from 13 regions of Kazakhstan as well, cities Astana and Almaty. Despite the fact that the majority of audience, about 80 people attended the seminar virtually, through the Internet, an assistant professor Duishon Shamatov and Ali Ait Si Mhamed managed to create a truly interactive experience for everybody.
During the training seminar, participants were able to experience the benefits of effective communication, interactive approaches information delivery, learned how to make effective presentations, the use of visual aids and other insights of modern education techniques.
Currently, the Agency for Civil Service and Anti-corruption is running education programmes throughout the regions to develop a high anti-corruption culture in the country. New knowledge will help the participants of the seminar-training to work more effectively with their target audiences: civil servants, students and entrepreneurs.
